Evolution Roadmap from Prototype to Mission-Proven Infrastructure

Road to TRL 9: OBrain Sovereign Engine 🚀

This document outlines the technical and operational roadmap required to reach Technology Readiness Level 9 (TRL 9). OBrain has transitioned from a SaaS model to an Institutional Infrastructure Model, which significantly alters the validation criteria.

Current Status: TRL 6-7

  • TRL 6 (Achieved): v1.0 Core unifies Local M4 Engine with Cloudflare Edge.
  • TRL 7 (In Progress): System demonstration in an operational B2B environment via Private Node Deployment.

🔧 Technical Gap Analysis

1. Verification & Validation (V&V)

To reach TRL 8, the following must be verified by external parties:

  • HMAC Security Audit: Cryptographic validation of the handshake protocols.
  • Waterfall Resilience: Empirical proof of sub-second fallback between sourcing layers.

2. Operational Metrics

TRL 9 requires a history of "Mission Success":

  • Uptime Stability: 12+ months of continuous operation of the Dual-Track architecture.
  • Predictive Accuracy: Validation that the "Anticipation Gap" provides a statistically significant ROI advantage over public market tools.

🚀 Institutional Roadmap

Phase 1: TRL 7 (Deployment Validation)

  • Finalize 5 pilot institutional deployments.
  • Publish complete API Technical Specifications.
  • Establish private Cloudflare Tunnels for all nodes.

Phase 2: TRL 8 (System Completion)

  • Integration of automated hardware health monitoring.
  • SLA (Service Level Agreement) formalization for B2B partners.
  • Security hardening based on independent penetration testing.

Phase 3: TRL 9 (Mission Proven)

  • Global orchestration of 50+ sovereign nodes.
  • Audited ROI reports from institutional operators.
  • Certification of the "Anticipation Gap" as a verified industrial benchmark.

⚠️ Non-SaaS Commitment

As of v1.0, OBrain does not offer retail subscriptions.

  • TRL 9 success is defined by the sovereignty and profitability of the individual operator node, ensuring that infrastructure performance and data privacy are the primary KPIs.
